Three unreleased Gibb Albums of 1970

 Maurice Gibb: The Loner

Barry Gibb: The Kid's No Good

Robin Gibb:  Sing Slowly Sisters

These three albums are the brother's first solo attempt (with the exception of Robin' as it is his second); sadly-- they never came to fruition. But putting that issue aside for the moment as it does not really effect the fact that they are solid albums with a nice amount of wonderful songs which would have been great; and still are for us die hard fans. Each album showcases each brother' strengths as songwriters and story tellers which really can be seen even such a tumultuous period.   I can't help but to wonder about what could have been if they patched things up much sooner than they did-- another two or three bee gees Album alongside these.

It is hard to single out which album is the better one as many may try at different points as they are very different; and should stand on their own merits.  Maurice' Album is kind of early swamp style music, if that is a good description. Barry' Album is the first of a number of efforts to hone in on the country music. Robin' Album is a second attempt at an orchestral sounding pop album (which, of course, the bee gees were known for even before this); however,  it is very experimental as well.

The only songs that are known from these efforts are:

(1) railroad (M. Gibb)

(2) I'll kiss your memory (B. Gibb)

But a few standouts should be mention here:

(1) Avalanche (R. Gibb)

(2) Sing slowly sisters (R. Gibb)

Having said what I have above in terms of these being great efforts-- I cannot help but agree with a conclusion reached by a friend-- that the bee gees were and always will be better united than separate as they are phenomenal as a three-piece.
