A classic song-- words:
As far as love songs go-- this is perhaps one of the most moving examples from this early period. And this particularly the case with its soft vocals in the beginning and then its power filled bridge. The part with the words "this world has lost it glory..." If one thing can be said about the brothers they had a glowing apprehension of what a love song should be-- this is evidence of it.
Now for something a little more fun-- an outtake for the next album horizontal which is called deeply, deeply me:
This song marks the start of unusual but very wonderful influences on the brother's song-writing and even singing styles. Taking a more eastern vibe (note the fact that a song from 22 years later would have the same echoes). But this is just brothers experimenting with their writing and their humour as they were known for.
