The year was 1967 and as we have seen from the Australian recording of their work; they were not afraid to experiment with different sounds which could be said to sound a little wacky but still showing their humour. This also demonstrates how they could write songs for different genres of music something that they would return to again and again. one can think of there song To love somebody which is a soul song. Now these two songs show case the singing abilities of both Barry and Robin (take the lead on one song each). These writing and recording session must have been very interesting for other witness.
